i am going to rebuild my 300 straight 6 i need more power what can i do

How much money do you have to spend? Can you do the work yourself? Do you have the tools required? Do you have a place to work? Can you afford the vehicle to be down long enough to build a motor? Have you considered doing an engine swap to a more powerful motor instead of hopping up the inliner?
