3000 or 3500 stall street

I have a 355 with a 228/234 480/494 @110. It is a th350 with 4.11 in a 3,300lb car. The topend kit is for 420hp and got 286rwhp but I had a lose rocker and had to rejet and have put 2 1/5 exhaust instead of the 2" since. I also have a 100hp nitrous shot I use at 3000rpm, not on the dyno. I have a 2400 stall on it now and it is to small. I drive it on the street but have started racing. I think the 3000 would be fine but do not wont to replace it later with the 3500. Would the 3500 be bad on the street?

I have a 3500 stall in mine. I love it. Now it is only a 1600 lb T bucket, with a blown small block.
