How to get mor power out of my 302 ho.

Hey guys, I have a 85 Ford Thunderbird with a 302. I swaped that out with a 91, 302 ho out of a mustang gt. Rebuilt the whole thing bored the cylinders .30 over and put in a new cam. I had to use the intake that was originaly on the tbirds 302 and im not sure that im happy with the power. I was wondering what you think i should do to get more power. I was thinking of throwing a carb on it. What do you guys think? Thanks.

You should be able to run a Edelbrock performer RPM. But to better decide what you need we need to know exactly what has been done to your engine JMO, What cam did you go with ? what pistons/ what rear gears/what trans and converter if it's automatic. What are your plans for the Bird you going to be racing it any or just street driving it?
