302 chev block

I have a 3970010 block
How can I tell if it is a 302,327or a 350 ?? Without taking it apart.
I would like to know thanks

Measure the stroke...Take a plug out and put a piece of stiff wire in there and go through a cycle. Measure how much wire goes in there....

There's really nothing special about a 302 block, it's just another 4" block. The value comes with the suffix code, needed to make cars numbers matching.
