Hello; I´m building an R block 302 engine for a customer and have a few questions to anyone there
1.The block has ARP head studs already installed and I know they use different torque than regular hex bolts.What torque?
2.The block also is 4 bolt main in the 2nd,3rd and 4th mains and I don´t know the torque for the bolts (small and big ones).
3.The engine is .020 over in the pistons and I´m installing Ross hypereutectic slugs but the machine shop left them with a little bit more clearence than the spec sheet said(.0032 instead .0027) and the rings have .020 gap first and second .022 .Do you think I will have troubler with them.I rebuild the engine because it drunk oil like ·$$%%/&()(=)¿?P¨^¨Çlll..But would I have oil consuption with this gaps?
Ahh! I forgot to mention that the engine use a vortech V-1 supercharger!
