302 Ford hiTorque mini starter quest?

I bought a Powermaster #9503 mini starter for my 1971 Torino 302 V8/automatic engine. Summit & the parts dealers catalogue show its right but the sheet in the box says '75 & later in auto applications. Also, the stock starter I removed has 9 teeth while the new one has 11. I don't want to fire the thing if its the wrong fit!! Any help?

Hi,
Your flex plat is the 28oz imbalance, could be 157 tooth or
164 tooth, either way Ford used the same starter for both, so
I would think the starter will work fine.
Rich
PS I also went to powermaster's website & that # is for your engine
