i have a 302 in my 32 ford, it has 289heads with 351w valves heavely ported 289conrods with trimed pistons that come to the top of the block, cam is a mild regrind old firing order. problem is at idle have a definet noise, have about10000miles on engine and noise always there. have read that high comp smal fords should use marine or wisore 351 cam (to change firing order to eliminate noise. any one out there with a opinion or experience . thanks cliff
