302 no caps

I'm scared to ask this question because I'm pretty sure I know what will be said.

I'm currently working on putting together a stroked 302. I have an un machined 93 roller block that came out of a mustang. I have had this sitting around for awhile waiting for the rest of my car to be completed enough to start building the motor. Well now i'm at that point and have come to realize that my lovely girlfriend decided to do some spring cleaning and is pretty confident that she has in her words thrown away those metal horse shoe looking things.

Well now i'm stuck at trying to figure out what the I'm going to do. Is there somewhere I can get aftermarket replacement? What are my best options?

Thanks

matt

Whether you find another set or go aftermarket, they will have to be machined to fit the block.

...ouch...

Whoa!!!! Came home today and I guessed I jumped the gun to my surprise my girl had found them. She might be a keeper after all.

Now to figure out what parts to order for my 347 stroker. Any suggestions?

TRUST NOBODY. She may have come up with another set of caps from her other boyfriend to cover her ***.

Thats what I had thought to, but fortunately when I got the block I stamped the caps and the block, heads and everything else important for it so as to make sure they never got mixed up with any other parts I have for my other engines.

I was for sure that I was going to have to trade her in, but she redeemed herself she eventually remembered a box that she had put into my work shed and sure enough there they were.

Its probably not a good idea to keep parts in her kitchen!
