302 in a ranger?

im unsure if im causing a big problem for myself, or if the modifications isnt's much of a problem. But my first vehicle iv'e owned is a 1991 ranger. im a big fan of the 302, and i want more power in this tiny truck. ive talked to a few people and they told me its going to be a head ache, but im wondering if i am able to just drop the motor and transmission in? i know about the motor mounts and beat the fire wall in a little bit. but what else will i have to do??? any help is appreciated.

Matt is correct on the square body.....but the 302 can be put in any of the Rangers/Bronco II's . Pic's are of my truck, fantastic little truck absolute ball to drive, except on wet pavement.....did not stop or take off well on wet pavement. No longer have this truck, sold it to niece's husband so it is still it family sort of. I want to build a T-Bucket...............
Good Luck!
Kenny

302 in a ranger

I am not trying to stir anything up here, but I know several local guys who are running CHEVY small blocks because they fit the ranger frame better than the Ford engine.
