I am wanting to put a 302 in 83' Ford Ranger. SO i am wanting to know what all has to be done; as far as motor mounts and room for it. If ther is any special cutting or welding on frame or body? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

Hey, I wanted to do that when my 4banger quit . But, didn't.

i got my ranger a year ago , was a pile of junk, lol the 4 banger an trans was in the bed, doors was all smashed in , the inside of the cab was nasty , looks like a heard of billy goats was in the cab everything was about gone in it , but as of today ,, man its my pride , i payed $100 for the truck , an found another one an put the parts on mine from it , the 302 an c4 trans,,, slide rite in it as if it came out of it , put about $9000 in the motor, built my own dash out of dimaon plate alu, full roll cage in the cab, in the bed is fully coated, i even fiberglassed the floor boards, an inside fire wall, put 16 inch 2006 mustang rims an low wide profile tires on it , got a 600 holly with a high rise intake with a 2 inch spacer between them an a 2 inch spacer between the carb an street scoop with the 3 butterflys , i wish i knew how to post pics on here, , o an my truck is in full primer rite now, but will be a bright chevy orange with a strip going down the hood top of cab down the cab across the fiberflass bed cover , an have a 2 deck racing wing on the back of the cover,,
