This may be just right in your case as I have one in my own 302,Ford Racing has dropped their hydraulic cams and only has hydraulic rollers available, the old Ford Motorsports part # M-6250-A-311 is now available as a Summit Cam package Summit Racing SUM-K3600 - Summit Racing® Cam and Lifter Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com the Edelbrock Performer cam has similar specs the extra exhaust duration is always a plus with stock Ford heads as it helps to overcome the poor flow.This one is a hydraulic copy of the old COBRA cam if you want a more "nasty" sound http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-K3601/ and still have good low end and mid-range.
