Ok it was with a wire wheel .. I can use a vacuum cleaner. To the lost wire get out of it. While i was brushing i. Had to. Cranck the engine around a bit. And clean it eveerytime with a airpistol ..now im finished i put a film of oil on it. So if i crank the engine around by hand it has to stay hanging in the oil dont u think?

Its a 305! Just do it the way you planed The horse power will surprise you. If you pull the pistons make sure everything goes right back where it was removed from!!!! And stagger the ring gaps when reinstalling the pistons! If it was me I would Mike the bores if they don't have much ware ! Have it deridged and honed, install new file fit rings and install new main and rod bearings! And your engine is fresh with no worry's! if you pull the pistons one at a time only, clean them good! Do not use a wire brush and reinstall them staggering the ring gaps you will be fine!

You need a bore gauge or snap gauges and a big micrometer! check the bore in several areas to see if its out of round or has an improper taper! check your pistons remember some pistons are made egg shaped because of different expansion areas of the piston!

This may help (I dont know if its been translated on utube in Holland!)

You probably wont need a bore? but to install new rings you definitely need any ridge removed and a machine hone, to the stone grit that your ring material calls for!

hm..

Well I measured .. I borrowed the micrometer .. with dimensions of 94.9mm And should one have tollorantie of 2 hundredths I believe ... but there went that far over it as I see it .. at cylinder 7 is the correct one hundredth smaller .. vandaaar perhaps the scratches?

in each case .. I suggest not bounce him honing drilling. I only new piston springs and bearings should be sharpened crankshaft bearings where he touches.
