We're right back to what heads (and thus what CR) are you going to use? What gear ratio and stall speed?
If it's stock heads (should be 58cc not 68cc), I would NOT run anything any 'beefier' than a Comp 262 in your C-truck. Forget about the idle sound, unless that's ALL you want and to drive a pig otherwise. |

ok, no idle isnt what i am aiming for, just would like a noticeable change. The heads are stock but have heavy springs on them and the pistons are flats, it was estimated that it would be close to a 10:1 cr.
If the xe262 is the way to go then ill do that, i was just ready about how the 270h was an older design and liked higher cr, thats why i was leaning towards that grind. Thanks for the input. |

stall is stock, well a v6 stock stall and gears are stock but sorry no idea what they are..ill have to jack the truck up to determine that.

not trying to bash...but to get good power out of this motor is gonna need compression. Not saying its not possible, 305 Sprint cars out here get around 600+ hp from thier 305's...but they have some work done to them...A LOT of work...
