305 problems

Just put a 77 305 in my 78 nova upon taking the power steering pump mounts off antifreeze poured out of top mount hole by the timing chain cover. Whats going in with this?

That hole comes from the factory drilled through to the water jacket on the block. What you are seeing is normal for Small and Big block Chevy.
