30U Installing the door glass????

First off happy new year.

Now I feel stupid asking this question. Over the next few days I’m going to start installing the window run channels, etc. in my 30 Plymouth doors. As I look at the doors I’m trying to figure out how in the world to get the door glass in the run channel. The door frame around the glass is all closed in. And there is no access from the door panel either. I had a heck of a time fabricating the door latch linkages because of limited access.

I’ve seen ford coupes with a door that comes apart at the top so you can drop the glass right into the run channel. I think model A’s are like that.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

This stuff is not in my experienced list.

I am going to guess there is going to be One piece of glass no vent.

It seems to me the only easy way is to go up thru the bottom.

I am sure there has to be a better way than mine.

On a 1932 Ford 3W coupe ... you drop the glass is from the opening ( with the window garnish moldings removed ) ... and then add the window channel fuzzies ... 5W and other 32 Fords also.

Never did a 30 Plymouth but I would guess it is close.
