Angry 31 ford rear buggy spring

31 ford stock frame and rear crossmember.Pete and Jakes 4bar. Posies buggy spring. 8" ford rearend. Spring perches @46". Car seems to sit 4-5" to high. Granted not all the weight is in the car yet. Shocks are @ full extension. Will it settle down with all the weight on? Want the wheels tucked into the fenders.

with the buggy rear set up the only way you can get the rear down is to move the spring up, this is why they used to z the frame on these old cars. this will get you down where you want to b. the way you are now with all the weight on it you may get 3-4 inches max of lower ride height with reversed eye springs and shackles that just clear the axle.
