Post 32 Ford Coupe Body

I trying to decide which body manufacturer to use for my 32 ford coupe project. Any comments or suggestions on a particular manufacturer appreciated. Does anyone have an experience with a steel reinforced body such as Wescott as opposed to wood reinforced.

Try New Age components out of Connecticut. Awesom body. It comes complete with windows and doors mounted. The seams are sanded for you already and the drip rail is perfect.

Post re: 32 Ford Coupe Body

I've visited Dee Wescott's plant near Portland Oregon. As far as glass bodies are concerned, they're GREAT. They are hand laid, not a chopper gun. Both steel and wood can reinforce glass for looks, but steel is stronger than wood if you get in a crash. If I wanted a glass body I would pick Wescotts. It's a matter of personal preferance, but, have you considered steel bodies? Both Steve's Auto Restorations and Brookville make a '32 roadster. I believe steel may actually be less expensive.

Thumbs up re: 32 Ford Coupe Body

I have seen what happens to a Wescott body after sliding sideways into an oak tree at 45 & the overall damage to the body was not that bad considering what could have been. Not to mention the workmanship. I'm sold.
