I've been looking for a lot of parts for my '32 ford truck but all I can come up with are '32 car parts. Can I use these parts? Mostly interested if the fenders will fit. This will be my first street rod, have been building low riders and race cars for years,but no experience with the older stuff. Thanks in advance.

Yes I do beleive the car fenders and truck fenders are identical, but the running boards may be longer, not positive on that since the '32's I've customized were either fenderless or I had to make custom fenders for a better look. I do beleive all bolt on peices of the early fords of the same model were identicle so they could be replaced by parting out other broken vehicles, simular to the jeep used in WW1-2. Trucks are generally a year behind the cars in term of body styles. I have worked on 32' trucks that parts from a 31' model A fit. Make sure to check your body style first.

The 32, 33, and 34 Ford Pickups are the most incorrectly identified trucks in the Ford line.
Lots of guys think they have '32s because the title says so, or the previous owner said so, but oftimes they are wrong and have '33s or '34s.
The '32 is unique to itself in many respects.
The front fenders and runningboards(rubbercovered, an oddity in Ford pickups as previous and following all had stamped diamonds) are the same as passenger cars.
The rear fenders are 32 only but...you can use 33-34 pickup rears too.
The frame is the one-year only '32 Pass. and Pickup with the beauty-mark reveal pressed into the siderails and a K-type center crossmember.
The 33-34 has plain siderails and an X-member similar to the later cars and trucks.
Enough...enough....sorry.
I highly recommend you acquire all the lierature you can find on the 32 pickup, and read it.
Glad somebody is still playing with real old cars, just wish the mags and other media would research their stuff better...

I am sorry, there is one other thing. The designation "truck" used by Ford usually refers to 1-ton and up. Sometimes what fits a "truck" doesn't fit a "Commercial" or "Pickup". Kinda confusing but a necessary bit of knowledge.
Example: a 42-47 Truck front fender looks just like a pickup fender until you buy it and bolt it on your pickup and find out it has tire tread to fender lip clearance big enough to stick your head in.

Wow i like this site, now i've just found out 32's had fenders....something new every day.
