32 Ford Rear Fenders - Differences?

I'm on the lookout for rear fenders for my 32 Ford Truck. I've noticed the rear fenders are bodystyle specific, but I'm not sure what the differences are. Are the truck fenders totally different than the sedan or coupe fenders? If they are different, can I modify one of those types to use on my truck? I'd really like to use steel fenders since the rest of the truck is original steel. Any opinions on the best place to get them?

Thanks in advance,

32 p/u rear fenders

These are an animal in themselves. However, 33 or 34 p/u are near the same and will work just fine. Cheers

Sedan fenders wont work on a coupe or pickup. You can tell sedan fenders because they won't lay flat on a table when the inside edge is laid down. Also the rear of the fender has a triangular filler piece that on the rear lower inside section. 32 pass car fenders will lay with the inside edge of the fender touching a flat table all the way around except for a small relief on the lower front inside edge of the fender. It clears the lower beltline of the body. The 32-34 pickup as stated by gm willys, are nearly identical. They are pretty much the same as a 32 coupe or roadster, except the lower 4 or 5 inches of the front inner flange protrudes about 1 to 1 1/2 " towards the inside of the car. These also will lay flat on a table (except for the protrusion) I am reasonably sure of all that. ( it's been 9 years since I worked full time at Poliform making those out of fiberglass) I have a set of original steel pickup fenders at the shop and I will take a pic of them for you if you'd like. Let me know. I believe Brookville roadster makes those fenders out of steel. Hope this helps, mikey
