32 ford steering columns

I am building a 32 ford high boy roadster.
does anyone know what size (length),tilt or no tilt ,with shift,gm column would work? need to buy used,low buck.
what make,model,yr steering column would work?
I would like to have column shift outside of firewall.and nice to have key on column.
an running flathead with a 350 turbo.
any help would be appreciative

Depends on your steering box, planning to use a vega stlye? You'll find about 35" to be about right (incl the wheel), it'll end just past the floor so you'll have enough room for the double d shaft and 2 universal joints. The vega box'll be just about under #1 cyl. Not enough room for power steering with this setup but with sbc may not be an issue. I am thinking about doing away with the vega box and using one of those unisteer semi-rack, thye claim next best thing to power steering. Hope this helped, oj

Steering to fit a 1930 Model A

Where can i find a complete Steeering Column to fit a 1930 Model A, an after market column

Steering Column

I just put my 1930 Model A body on a Heiths Frame, and am looking for a drop in Steering Column, it has Rack and Pinion Steering, 9/16s Shaft, 26 spline, where can i pick one up?

I really think you should start your own thread, and not ride the tail of Mikej6, if more people get on this thread and don't see what he started with, you will get the help and he won;t. With your own thread and his you will each get help I'm sure.
