the hood just sold on ebay it went for $2550 it is a rare hood I come to find out .25 louvers. so if anybody has any 32 25 louver hoods around they are worth big money. thanks Ron

well, since I don't have a 32... It's still only worth $5 to me. I guess that means it is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it.

if its an orig. .....a lot!!! a repo not so much,make sure which before you sell you dont want to waste someones time selling a repo as an orig anyone that knows them and willing to pay a fortune it will get mighty pissed if its a repo and will be able to tell right off.*******************

yes,very true but you can get a repo hood and louver it,those guys know every detail of every inch,Some guys can even roll one out on a wheel and it looks great....not real complicated,I got a vidio of a old guy teaching an apprentice on a 32 ford hood and these old guys on the wheel are simply amazing.I still watch my wheel vids every time I get ready to make something.I think I'll share these vids.HF has a wheel for 200.00 and it works like a charm,any body thats interested in the english wheel and knows the computor can explain how I can post vids so every one can watch them just show me how... their great.I cant do sheet on this thing.I still screw up emai;l .....fat finger ...and ..duh..32...if you get the impression I think I know it all , I'm disapointed in myself.I'm new to the internet (6 months)I quit school in 9th grade (worst mistake I ever made) (Except marring the girl that was more interesting than school)I have a dictionary and refuse to use the spelling thing that corects everything for you ,I'm olds kool and cant learn nuttin if its done fer me.You really got the wrong impression of me I'm just trying to help you guys and pass my P&B knowlage while theres still time,my sons a chef and has no interest in cars ...,but you guys do...Right? Please clairify...An Orig louverd hood ? or an orig hood thats louverd? Cause the first rod I helped build was a 32 P/U no hood,I didnt know they made louverd hoods in 32,I thought louvers started in the fiftys,Please skool me. got pics?

Pretty much all the stock hood sides on the 20's and 30's cars were louvered. Not the tops, the sides.

The 25 louver had 5 more louvers than the stock 20 louver. Usually found on V8 cars sent to warmerclimates.

now thats cool .mike,I understand,so the three pieces hinged together are a hood.The 32 IMO is the best looking rod there is.How do I make a referance like that? theres a 16 yr old that built an amazing 31 (chopped channeled)down under I want to show you guys.The next Chip Foose x2

Stockers on all those early Fords were 4 pieces. 2 pc top with a hinge in the middle of the top pieces, 2 side panels.
