32 top mount
Does anyone have the mesurement as where to put the lower mounting tab on 32 roadster body? this is the tab that the top mount to.
I need the measurement from door opening to center of the hole. then the distance from hole down to the body. also the size of the tab,HxWx thickness and the hole size and is it tapped? MIKE Register now (free) or login to remove ads

These measurements were taken off my Henry Ford original steel 32 roadster and the Brookville roadster I have in my shop. I am working on it for a friend. THANKS.
It is really nice to have a place to get inf. from knowledge people. why is the hole square? and not round. I like your cars. How do you keep the gararge so clean??? thanks again MIKE

 Here is another photo ... ORINIGAL 32 Ford roadster ... Not my roadster but it is a old magazine cover roadster from the 60's. I have no idea why the hole is not round. I would imagine the hole is broached ... and was possibly square to hold the bracket in place while being machined. I guantantee you ... HENRY had it square for a reason. .
