Some of you may have seen a 32v vid clip of a sbc 850hp blown street rod engine from NRE, these heads look trick with a 671.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6XEh1ocG4gQ and another 815hp n/a sbc 32v version some may have also seen, there are a few other 32v vids on YT also for those interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCooH...eature=related Last edited by Kazoom; 02-04-2012 at 07:51 PM. |

32V sbc dominion
A friend of Hals sent me some pics of the last 2 pairs/sets of sbf and sbc heads he got from Hal from Dominion Perf this last year. Hal was sick for a while and passed away recently last year so no more Dominion 32v versions are available now, RIP Mr Carlson. The sbc cast versions I understand were all cast at a local cali casting company.
![]() Hal was a ford guy and only did the sbf versions in billet aluminum, Hal was working on these unfinished sbf ones moding them for a Boss 302 type intake and is why I wanted to do my sets the same. With billets you have easyer/more options for doing mods.

32v bbc
As you can see above, the pricing ($3500 to $4900) on the 32v Dominion Performance versions was reasonable for such custom made parts.
For you bbc guys, I do though really like arao engineerings 32v BBC versions, I love there high port design on these heads. I would LOVE! to see a 32V SBF version designed like these.

32V Thunder Power heads
If some of you 2V guys are upset about this 4V thread, you can easily put me on you ignor list as I did say I was going to post a bunch of info I have in this thread for those interested. thanks.
Northstar, the Thunder power bbc heads also have a simular design though I am not sure how much better it is than just a standard type system. ![]() The 32V Thunder Power valvetrain differs a bit, though again they use a porsche type valve adjuster. ![]() Arao had a simular sbf billet version exh setup in the past, I dont think it made more power though. ![]()

billet mods
Dominion/Hal knew how to make it a p.i.t.a if you wanted to buy a lower stage head and then mod it your self. Got these modded to a boss port for big ci, good thing its a billet lol.
