Post 326 pontiac

can anybody out there tell me if 400/455 headers will fit a 326? if 400/455 heads will fit a 326 block? i know the intakes, and cams interchange, and the motors have the same outer dimentions.

everything will fit but with pontiac heads must be matched to the intake for a particular series of years I think it was 1964 and 1967 were years for design changes from there just watch the combustion chamber size

i hate to answer my own question again, but i e-mailed doug thorleys tech-head and he says the 350-455 headers will fit my 326, p/n: 341,so end of story, except that i asked him why, for my 326, they are only a three tube header, and he didn't answer that Q. I emailed him back. I'll post his answer when/if I get it. I didn't expect him to answer me so fast.

The heads on the 326 as well as the 389 421 and 400,428 have siamesed center exhaust ports and all the pontiac headders used to be three tubes
