327

I am receiving a 1971 or 1972 327 from my grandfather. I just wanted to know some information on the motor and what others thought about it!

The motor is in a 71 or 72 chevy 3/4 ton flatbed.

I would expect it to be a 350 4 bolt main with a steel crank if it's the original
engine from the 71 or 72 Chevy 3/4 ton flatbed.

I do believe it is the original engine but i am just going by what my Grandfather told me. Was the 4 bolt main the only engine available for that pickup?

Every 3/4 ton Chevy small block truck I have seen from the early 70's had a
heavy duty engine with X Rods, steel crank and four bolt mains.
