Hi all i got engine and cant found what kind is it dont know if you can hlp ?

casting# 3970010
engine code # MM01800

Its all i have hope some one can hlp me i wanna know how much hp i got :/

i have remove hoil pan and i know its 4bolt main

350 four bolt main .. Anywhere from 1970 to 86.
Very popular 350 casting ..
No 327 engines carry that casting number and they never built a 4 bolt main 327

Oh ok thx now need found how many hp got in that do i need suffix for find how much hp ?

1970 block .. about 250 horse
1986 about 160 horse.
3970010 block with four bolt main most likely came from 3/4 ton or one ton truck or van

The only way to really find out if it is a 327 or 350 is get the suffix code off the block located above the water pump hole on the passager side of the block

And a 327 dose have that casting number so dose the 350. If you look in the back of the engine behind the fly wheel and there is casting numbers with a 010 and 020 its most likely a hi nickel block

there is no suffix on its all gone :( only thing there is the engine code MM01800 this can hlp ?

i have already go to that site but im frensh and i cant find how much hp i got in there i dont wanna put to much money on it if it only got 180hp :( i have already 650 holley 2pump edelbrock dome and came stage 3

cant found nothing cuz of those dam MM and i try so many site my number match with nothing

That is a stock up rating ..that block can handle at lest 400 hp it all depends on who much money you have to spend...hot rods don't run on gas they run on money and lots of it lol

with all of my set up do you think im close to 350-400 hp ?

I don't know what you have plus it takes good heads ,cam,prisons, compression,and a boat load of stuff it get 400+ HP.
