327 4 bolt main

1968-69-3955618 327--4a,f,vette.ive heard there is no gm factory 4 bolt 327.will someone straighten me out.

It may not have been "technically" a production engine but if may have been factory, they may have been short on 2 bolt blocks. The GTO wagons weren't "technically" produced but there have been reports of them.

vette only.there seems to be on .its 68-69.maybe its rare but there is one.

never made em.. also 69 was a 350 (4bolt)

327 Four bolt

Go back to the days of Bill Jenkins "Grumpys' Toy" Vega, guys wanted to build the 331 Chevy so you use a 350 4 bolt main block bored .030 add a 327 large journal crank vintage 68-69 and you have the infamous 331 small block I just sold the Jenkins book to a fellow rodder in Australia recently,I built one of the "Jenkins" clones in '84 they can be awesome in a light car.
