327 boring
I have a "69 327 that has been bored .040 and the crank is turned .010. I have been told that it is not good to go more than .030. To keep this block I will need to go to .060. Does anyone have any knowledge as to the possible problems with doing this. I will also need to turn the crank, probably another .010. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

There are probably several hundred thousand small block Chevys out there running everyday with +0.060" blocks and -0.030" cranks.

Have the block sonic tested if its going to be a performance build as that is the only true way to tell if you have a good peice as it takes the guess work out!!!!!!!!!
