327 engine codes

I am looking at 327 with the following codes Owner says it runs I am planning on replacing rings,bearings,doing valve job on heads is it worth $ 800.00 any problems I should look out for Thanks,Mike 3903352/to811ha/3805393/3890462 d/h

If the to811ha is the number on the pad in front of the passenger side head.....

HA 1965 327 4 spd tran. std 275 4 full size/Camaro
HA 1969 350 manual trans 300 4 A F X

It shows it could be a 327 or a 350

The casting number 3903352 shows.

1967 3903352 327 210 350 2 cars only

So, it looks like a 327/275 hp.......

A little pricey for a rebuilder in my mind.

IMO, not worth any more than maybe 3-4 hundred if you just had to have a 327, unless it was fresh and was loaded w/good forged innards.

Better bang/$ buy a Vortec 5.7L long block unless you're building a period correct deal or restoration back to original.
