327 Horsepower
I was browsing the engine post and came across a post that mentioned 500hp from a 327. I am restoring a 68 vette form the ground up. I would like to keep it streetable, but would also like to make it as stout as possible. Can anyone tell me how to make this engine snotty? Thanks

just do the basic hot rod stuff, cam,carb, ignition, exhaust, use your head and try to get a good combination, if you are inexperienced you can rely on the high perf kits put out by companies like edelbrock, or talk to a tech guy at an established machine or speed shop, or the people at Summit or Jegs etc. All the high horsepower talk makes you want to build a world beater but keep your engine on the conservative side and you will get more enjoyment out of it.

I agree with bobcrman, I have had good luck with edelbrock. I have built radical it sucks on the street. The performer rpm kit would be a good start.
