327 out of 68 chevy in 94 caprice

My buddy has a 68 chevy truck wit 327 engine (running great & very fast) and he jus brought a 502 to put in the truck! He told me dat he would sell me the 327 for 400$ Would it be a good ideal to put in 94 caprice? It currently has a 4.3L

will not work. engine mount on the pass side is farther back and the L99 and LT1 blocks have extra mounting holes to accommodate this plus the LT style heads will not bolt on to a gen 1 block and the LT style intake will not fit, just find a LT1 to go in your 94.

4.3L in 94-96 Caprices are V8s, and are externally identical to the LT1 5.7L V8s...

You could bolt the 327 in, but it would only be using two of the three motor mount bolts on one side. Even if you were to stick with the carb setup on the 327, it would still be quite a bit of effort to get it to work (fuel system, guages, etc).
