Post 33-34 Commercial headlamps

Anyone know where I can score a set of those really big, (11"-12"), lamps? I'd love to put a set on my 34 coupe.

Thanx,
Lee

Both the 32 Ford headlamp (the biggest Ford used) and the 33-34 Commercial lamps are available new from various vendors of early Ford parts.
I don't think they're 11-12"ers though.
If you're talking about what the magazines all call "Frog-eyes" and "Bugeyes" usually mounted on brackets off the frame on fenderless cars, they're talking about the 32s.

If you never tried the commercial headlights out. might want to do some home work.
I have them on my 34 chevy, (pic in the photo album) They don't put out alot of light for night time driving. (even on high beam)

Try www.cwmoss.com, or
<a href="http://www.vintage-ford.com.]www.vintage-ford.com.[/URL] These are reliable companies to deal with. With halogen or quartz bulbs they should be adequate for normal driving. A friend of mine had a stock 6V Ford with big lights on it and he swore the light came out of the buckets and hit the pavement three feet in front of the bumper! He went to 12V and quartz and has been satisfied. Hope this helps.
