'33 Ford Body Decision

Hi Guys, I am sure this has probably been addressed countless times in the past, but I would like some opinions from the board as to who has experience with 'glass bodies, and who some of the better mfg's are, i.e. Downs, Gibbons, Outlaw, Deuce Customs, etc... I am in the initial stages of my first streetrod and had picked up a '33 Coupe body from "The Rod Shop", and although the outer body is very nice, the overall frame to body fitment, and firewall/interior finishing did not seem to be that well thought out. Also, I was not satisfied with was the lack of inner structure in the body so I have sold it, and need to replace, but before I do, I would like to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Thanks much....

I'm sure Vince from this board can give you great advice on Gibbons. He's building one of their rods and hasnt been all that pleased with it.

lol......Yeah I did see something about that from an earlier thread, something about tunneling and cavities around the window opening? Spooky stuff, any thoughts on a Deuce Customs or Redneck body?

Take a look at Dave Korrey Street Rods. I have one of his Deuce glass bodies and it's a work of art. His stuff is a little less than the others (you need to do a little more of the work yourself) but if you're not adverse to that you can save a bundle.
