I'm beginning a Hemi powered '33 Ford street rod. I have a 331 Hemi but have not yet obtained the Ford. I know the Hemi is too wide to allow the use of hood sides on a '33 Ford . . . how about fenders . . . would front fenders need modification to clear the engine? Any advice is appreciated.

Won't bet the farm but I believe you can use fenders, but exhaust might be a problem. You would probably have to use something like the limefires by Sanderson(which would look awesome). My friend has a 331 ready to put in a 36 Dodge which is narrower, and it will barely fit w/fenders
