Hi, I have been admiring some amazing workmanship on this site, particularly that 41 Chrysler of 123pugsy, wish I had those hand skills. I also see some scary stuff on this site, glad those folks don't get to work on my car. I guess it's a good placem to get and share ideas.
My current (and only) project is my 34 CB Chrysler which I have stretched 40 inches and chopped 2. 1/2. This project has been sitting idle for a few years. I bought the car, along with another sister car, serial numbers consecutive, 1755 and 1756 in 1976 and put them into rough storage, outdoors unfortunately. I started work on this in 2001 but shelved it for health reasons for a long time, now back at it.
It is getting a 6.1 Hemi and 5-45. I originally built it with a supercharged Buick V6 as the new Hemi was not available when I started this projet, and the old Hemi didn't appeal to me. I have now ripped it out to make way for the 2007 Hemi. I built the chassis and other running gear with a V8 in mind so it will all work fine.
I recently sold my favorite car to my older brother, a rare 34 Chrysler convertible sedan, only 7 left that I can track down, maybe more out there but this one was a really good car. I didn't have the heart to Hot Rod it, and restorations are a bit boring. I have had a string of other cars and other engineering projects along the way. see www.muston.com
for my other stuff.
Look forward to sharing this site and seeing the projects out there, particularly Chryslers from the 30's
