34 Ford door window installation in Glass body

Hey everyone... hope all is well, any way.
I'm working on my 34 Ford 3 window coupe fiberglass car. I got the body back from my paint guy and I'm putting things back together.
all the stuff for the electric windows are installed, but I'm thinking I need to install a window guide. Two things bother me... the area with window sits into doesn't have a clamp... and its not rubber coated. Also, it doesn't have a side guide, I'm thinking the guide should be used while the window is rolled down... to hold it in alignment, when its raised it goes into the "felt" lined frame.

So, my thoughts...

1) rubber coat the window seat... glue it in place with windsheild glue.
2) install some type of window guide

Any thoughts as to where to purchase window Channel? guide material?

What am I missing?

Windows..

HI,my thoughts are,you should have had the windows installed PRIOR to painting!.....tape (using blue 3M tape,) all places likely to get scratched.BEFORE you start.

Let's put this in General Rodding Tech also.

Believe it or not, the best and cheapest place to buy window channel and guide material is J.C. Whitney.

The windows in my glass 34 have front and rear channel guides. The window sits in a bottom channel that is connected to the window mechanism.
