34 ford front axle - value?

I'm helping my father-in-law clean out his house, getting ready to sell it and we've found an original '34 Ford front axle, including the original wheels and some suspension parts as well. I'm trying to figure out what the value and interest might be for this item. Any opinions are welcome.

Welcome to the site.

You might want to look at a Hemmings to see if there is one for sale or just list it in there. you might want to list it in the ads here.

Just my opinion, but here is an idea of value:

axle: between $75 and $100.
spindles: about $50/pair
backing plates: about $80/pair
hubs/drums: about $75/pair
wire wheels: about $50 each

All based on the assumption that it's all in decent/usable condition.

That said, check the 'bay or the classifieds on the HAMB for the latest going prices.

I hope this helps.

Like Bob said above, try a parts wanted in the classifieds. If you're wanting to deal with another member, please do it in a PM. Thanks.
