What if you use liquid nails to secure the plastic to the glass?

If you have to use them at all think I would use anything that said it would bond both "plastic" and "fiberglass" that had some gap filling ability. I like 2 part epoxy. I have glued them on first, before I start wiring, that gives me a route to follow.

All I know is that every time I get a car in my shop that has those pads with the double faced tape on them, they are swinging in air and the wire bundle is swinging with them. Usually the tape is still on the plastic part.

Anywhere I can I use screws and cable clamps. I have epoxied stud plates to a firewall so the screw would not show from the outside.

Later, mikey
