new 347 stroker with 671 blower. first 500 miles blown out front and rear seals. replaced seals and blown out at 1000 miles. replaced again and added e-vack system. now have 1500 miles on it and seals gone again. does anyone know if there are seals that will handle the pressure i have in this block...the old trucker

E-vac systems don`t work on street machines too well with corked exhausts. It sounds like you have a vent problem as mentioned. You may want to run just breathers in your valve covers. If this doesn`t solve the issue then you well could have a piston with a hole in it and the force of the blower is building pressure in the pan faster than it can get rid of it so blown out seals are the result.
first 500 miles and blew out front and rear seal. at 1000 miles blew out again. this time added a e-vack system. now at 1500 miles on engine, blew out both again. does anyone make a super strong seal for small block ford....the old trucker
I have some Q's first: How fast you spinning the blower?? Sounds like the rings aren't sealing properly. What rings and gaps? What kind of vents you got on the valve covers? How much blow-by? Seems to me, if your blowing out seals do to extensive block pressure, the problem won't be solved by better seals! Too restrictive an exhaust system?
500 mile blow out was with pcv hooked up. second time at 1000 miles was with both valve covers vented. at 1500 blew out with e-vack system on it....the old trucker

Where is the pcv hooked to? Carb or intake? It has to be connected to the carb on a blown engine. It can't be connected to the intake below the blower.
mr kool per your question's. compression is at 10.2, 6-71 is 10%overdriven, exhaust is longtube hookers two megaflow three inch all the way ,stops in front of both rear tires. lost first seals with pcv hooked up. second set with both valve covers with breathers, third set with e-vack system on both valve covers. yes i do push this engine to get max hp, but i don't run it hard. i have a 5000 rpm rev limiter on it. i just go to local car shows and some saturday nigth cruise. it seems like when i cruise around on side street's it don't blow to bad. but on the highway at 3000 rpm 55 mph (4-56 rear) it start's getting on the headers and smoking. leaves a puddle on ground when i stop... the old trucker
engineczar thanks for merging these two. i put in first one and then could'nt find it so put in another....the old trucker
