Got a little confused in your question, but... The 2-bolt 350 is probably more than adequate for a street engine. You didn't say what kind of heads, i.e. casting #, you have, but an SBC head with 2.02" intakes will work on your 350 without a problem.
Start with the basics. What do you want the engine for? Daily driver? Street? Race? How many miles on the engine? There's also no sense in trying to build a strong engine on something that has 100,000 miles on it. There's also no sense in putting a big cam in with 7.5:1 compression. Find out what pistons you have so you can figure your compression. Go from there.

Unless you get really radical your o.k. with the two bolt main. As for my self i would not put a lot of time or money into two bolt. You can do it, but if you like i are on a budget, why put your cash into anything other than a dream motor. If it were me i`d rebuild the two bolt simple and clean with minor mods. Your heads are o.k. to use.But once again what`s the piont. You can build a nice sounding good running little 350 with a cam and a nosiey timing chain and have a cool sounding motor that is reliable. My two cents worth.

You can do anything you want to with that little motor, lower ponies = more reliable, more radical then hey, if it blows up you can get another short block for 50 cents! (well, almost) ps your heads probably have stainless steel valve seats not stainless steel valves. lets you run unleaded gas.

2 Bolt should be fine for any street motor.Your cam should be in direct proportion to your gears, comp, heads etc....To much o one thing and not enough of another will cause a miss matched setup and a loss of performance.Like said befor what do you want to do w/ the car.
