Post 350 or 383?

Which would be a better choice for a heavy car
(1965 Chevy Impala). Turbo 350 Trans and rear
gear ratio of 3.31:1. A 350 or a 383 stroker?
Both with mild cams to provide good brake vacuum.
Since my rear gears are'nt very tall will the
extra torque of the 383 make much difference?
The 350 will give me about 380 ft. lbs. vs. about
425 with the 383 @ about 3800 RPM.

383, your Impala isn`t light, and torque is what moves all that weight around, although a 350 would do the job, the 383`s just that much better, use the 5.7 rods, get it balenced, and your there.
