After buttoning up the engine, I did a ghetto tune-up by pulling the vacuum canister thus increasing the timing until the engine shook then I backed it off till it smooth out. I then wiped the grease from my hands and applied neosporen and bandages to my bloody hands and fingers from all the work I performed. After that I kicked the dog out of the way, put down my Budwiser and took the beast for a test drive...seemed to drive ok!!

Having skinned my hands, mainly knuckles year after year i was in the hardware store a while back and found these $5 Ninja black gloves, thin rubber fingers with cloth back. I have used up pairs of them since.
Saved heaps on bandages so i could spend more on beer.
