350 to 383 stroker
Hey! I got a 350 Chevy small block , and i wanna know what all i have to do to change
It into a 383 stoker. Also do know where i can buy the stroker kit From?? |

There are lots of ways to put one of these together. But, for street use and occasional trips to the drags, I'd have to recommend a Scat kit. Not the best components available, but better than much of the competition. Check out their website, or call. I've found them to be helpful in response to phone inquiries (a few years back, anyway).

Use the search function on this board! There are probably only 1,000 posts and ideas for 383 builds! You can buy kits all day long from any performance supplier, Summit, Jegs, many more, and get them for different level builds from cast small hp parts to hard core forged bottom ends.
A 383 SBC is nothing more than a 350 block bored .030 over to 4.030" with a 400 SB crank stroke of 3.75", along with associated parts, stroker pistons (with the pin moved to accomodate the stroke), etc.
