Im obviously still pretty new to this but i appreciate the help guys
A 350 with 3.75 stroke, bored .060 over is a 388 not a 383. You also need 3.75 stroke pistons for whichever rod you decide to use, 5.7" or 6", they're different compression heights.

You don't need a new thread for every question regarding this 383 build. I'm merging the last two.

Meaning all your questions and the answers are now on this one thread- where you should keep your questions, instead of starting a new thread for each new question. See?

Some info that may help you is here, and here.

What are you putting the engine in? Is it set up for the power the engine will make, or if not are you budgeting enough for those changes that are inevitably needed when installing a high performance engine?

And why a 383 and not a 350 in the first place? If there is a good 350 crank already on hand, you can make a 350/355 SBC that will make good power and cost less than a stroker SBC.
