350 to 454 in 77 C10
I have a 1977 C10 stepside that use to have a 350 in it and I'm putting a 454 in. I had a few questions though. My dad did a 351w to 300 6cyl swap and he had to change motor mounts and the towers that the mounts went to in his bronco. Will I get away with just buying the motor mounts from lmc truck or will I need more than that? I wanted to use a high volume oil pan i believe that it was a 8 qt will I have issues clearing suspension or anything? What about the oil filter, is there anything to hit there? Is there anything else that I might be missing? I'm buying a built TH350 so that will be the same just the engine is changing. I shouldn't have any problem clearing the headers right? They're full length hooker competition headers. Seems like it had a lot of room on each side with a 350.
