350 build

hey everyone
have a 1973 350 stock 350 out of a chevy laguna and the engine is going in to my 85 el comino just a couple of questions i bought headers lunati cam 00016, have a edel brock 650, and a performance intake ,65k hei dist, 10.5 plug wires and i bought the spring kit and lifter kit i was wondering what stall converter will work best along with what gears. thank you again

I wouldn't do a stall but if you must, a 2000 would be the limit if it's a DD. You should like 3.73 gears.

X2 on the stall and gears, and did you happen to get a new timing set while you were at it ? how many miles is on the engine ?

no other work has been done to the engine and you think i should do the timing to. since i have it out of the car should i do the rings first engine build for me and thank you guys so much for the advice

That cam will want a static compression ratio in the neighborhood of 9.75:1. Have you computed your SCR?
