Post 350 build up

have 350 bar block(68-70model) bored 60 over,baby dome kb pistons,fact. rods,nf crank,882 heads fully ported 2.02 intake,1.6 exhaust,68 cc chambers,block and heads shaved to match,holley street dom. intake(dual plain port matched to heads) divider has been cut in half.294 duration cam with 510 max lift with 1.6 roller rockers,750 edelbrook carb with 2 in.spacer inbetween intake. motor has been internally balanced with the lightest rod being about 1.6lbs(? do not have balance sheet in front of me)with pistons and head and block work running about 12to1 compression.guestamation of about 506 horse.would like to know if that is about right for all the work that has been done

Im no pro, but Id say that is about right on. If you had went with some aftermarket heads like AFR, dart, ect... you might have got a little more just because they flow better than old time heads, but Im guessing its good. HG

500hp is alot for a sbc but with 12:1, 510 lift and full port job i think you're pushin it. but what do i know? i think a super victor would put out more.

$ was also a part of the rebuild,so afr heads or dart is still in the works,along with a victor air gap,and probably a bigger cam 304 duration with a 534 lift.
