350 Chev info needed

Hi, I'm from Australia and I have just bought a 4 bolt 350 Chev motor and I'm trying to find out how old the motor is. So, I was wondering if I posted some pics of all the numbers I could find, hopefully someone will be able to tell me a bit about the motor.

I think the casting number in the first pic means it's a crate motor from Mexico, is this correct? Thanks for any help in advance it will be most appreciated, Neill.

I wouldn`t think it`s very old. What you have is a "Hencho En Mexico" meaning "made in mexico" Targetmaster 350. Learning to read the date code on the block is simple. Here is a example of what they look like:
B 5 9
B - The month. A - Jan. B - Feb. Etc.
5 - The Date. The 5th of Feb.
9 - The Year. 1969, 1979, 1989. Look up the casting number to see what years the block was casted and you`ll have your answer on the year.

So the A15 in the third pic means it was made on 1st January with year ending in 5?

Where do I look up to find the date and what does the M0121IVP mean in the 4th pic? Thanks for your help, Neill

Looks to be a Mexican 350. The casting number ending in 036 is a 1986-up 1-piece rear main seal block, my resources don't show your suffix- that usually means it was a truck engine, especially if it is a 4 bolt.

I can't quite make it out, but that would make it a '95 casting.
