350 chevy ID

I just purchased what is said to be a 1984 corvette short block. The block is standard bore but the piston tops are flat with a wide two valve relief? I thought most small blocks of that era were dished with 4 valve reliefs? The numbers on the front right pad are V0727ZFK 1ES148454. Casting number 14010207. Any one that can give some help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
