350 chevy quadrajet bogging out

I have a 1974 quadrajet carb, engine cranks and runs great at normal driving, when trying to accelerate for the secodary to kickin(wot)it does ok until about 65mph and if you are running 60mph and give it (wot) it dies at 65 but comes right back if you get out of it....any help will be great...

i would guess a fuel issue. check your filter and your fuel lines. have some one gas it while checking your rubber fuel hoses make sure they don't collapse.

The Q-Jet has a bronze cintered filter/strainer where the fuel line enters the carb.Replace it or just toss it away. If that does't cure it , then you may have to reset the floats.
